The most important thing to me on my wedding day was getting to marry the love of my life.
Everything else was secondary.
However…
I had also spent the better part of a year designing menus and curating playlists. So while the details weren’t the most important thing, they still mattered to me. From carefully placed signage and childhood photos to the specific musical cues for processional entrances, they were all small expressions of my husband and I that thoughtfully weaved into the details of our day.
You as a bride give so much time and thought into your wedding, and those plans should be handled with the same care that you would give them yourself… just not by you.
